Well, we’re in a pandemic, guys. This week’s podcast was recorded from two different homes because…social distancing…but we didn't want to miss the chance to talk about Sunday’s bizarro audience-less debate, Trump’s lack of basic scientific understanding and denial, and all the increasing pandemonium of having no competent leadership during a dramatic pandemic. Also, sorry about your 401K. (And ours.) Maybe having basic social protections (but isn’t that socialism!?) isn’t such a bad thing after all?
This week BTL is back with an IN DEPTH discussion of the Democratic Debates, Puerto Rico’s amazing activism, and all the horrible news you missed while we were gone. Brent says some confusing things about Marianne Williamson (NOT ENDORSEMENT THINGS, CALM DOWN) but it gives us a chance to discuss our favorite topic - our prescience when it comes to presidential election cycles and how they work. Also, it’s summer recess in Congress which means…it’s townhall season! Go bug your reps!
